Associate Chief Medical Officer for Graduate Medical Education, Associate Professor of Medicine
Dr. Kari Roberts is the Associate Chief Medical Officer for Graduate Medical Education at Tufts Medical Center. Associate Professor of Medicine at Tufts University, Roberts earned her BA at Dartmouth College and MD at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her clinical training was completed at Johns Hopkins Hospital (Internal Medicine) and New York Presbyterian (Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine). A member of the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at Tufts Medical Center since 2004, she was an NIH-funded physician scientist (translational genetics) prior to transitioning to a career focused on graduate medical education. A highly regarded clinician with a practice that includes pulmonary hypertension and critical care, Roberts is consistently acknowledged as an outstanding medical educator and mentor by students and residents. She has been regularly been named a Top Doctor in Pulmonary Medicine by Boston Magazine since 2015.
